I would like to reiterate, the batch that Keebhut received is not the same batch that was produced for other vendors and the sheer amount of error switches seems to be isolated to their batch. This is not to say that every vendor has 100% success rate. It is still undetermined how the other batches are but so far it seems the majority of the other switches are fine with a few customers getting the occasional “stuck” switch.
Note: If you have supported previous projects you can steal the tops off of RBFs for the Summertimes to rectify the stuck nature of the error switches. You can also use the stem of Cream Sodas with the Summertime housings. Effectively one Cream Soda will fix 2 Summertimes and only alter the sound slightly. Lastly, you can use any Gateron tops predating releases over the last couple months as they are using older molds with looser tolerances. This is not something you should HAVE to do and for that my sincerest apologies but it s a bandaid so that you can use your switches.
Additionally any older Gateron top should work to resolve the issue of sticking stems as the problem is caused by an oversized stem and tighter tolerance top housing due to unaccounted for expansion due to moisture absorption during production
